ROD GROUP USA The Rescue of Dignity Group (ROD). ROD supports prison inmates both spiritually and physically, through letter writing, regular visits and group meetings.

The Rescue of Dignity Group (ROD) group explained:

Prison inmates are often seen as society’s failures; people who can be set aside and forgotten or who are feared, condemned and despised for the wrong that they did. The Universal Church holds a different opinion, believing that no one is beyond help, and has acted on that view by establishing the Rescue of Dignity Group (ROD). These are voluntee

rs from our congregations who support prisoners and their families throughout the World. Prisoners can refer themselves to ROD, or family members and friends can do it for them. Either way, a volunteer is assigned to write to and visit the person concerned; and support is also available for the families. Please contact us if you have family members in prison.
