Last weekend to experience, On Location with Artichoke Dance: A Photography Retrospective of Immersive Performance Tours of Gowanus!
On view this Saturday, October 3, from 1–5pm at the Gowanus Dredgers Boathouse.

Through the photography of Robin Michals, revisit Artichoke’s Immersive Performance Tours of Gowanus and witness how this ever-changing neighborhood has transformed since 2021.

The final day also includes:
2pm — Pop-up performance by Artichoke Dance Company
2:30–4:30pm — Guided tour using the Gowanus Augmented Reality Walking Tour App with Sarah Drury

📍 Gowanus Dredgers Boathouse, 165 2nd Street, Brooklyn

Join us and several local artists for the 3rd Annual EcoArts Festival!
A free day of eco-inspired dance, visual art, workshops, and interactive activities exploring climate change, environmental connection, and creative paths forward.

📅 Today, Sunday, September 20
🕚 11 AM–4 PM
📍 Governors Island — Climate Imaginarium, 406A Comfort Road, Colonels Row
🎟️ FREE & open to the public | Official Climate Week NYC event

Experience performances by Dancing Earth, Artichoke Dance Company, Inclined Dance Project, and VIDA Dance Arts, plus hands-on activities including paper making, recycled fabric art, an endangered aquatic animals installation, and a one-of-a-kind edible-bug performance.

Featured visual artists Traci Johnson, Katie Pell, and S Emsaki will also have work on view at the Climate Imaginarium through the end of October.

Come spend the day with artists, community members, and environmental advocates imagining a more sustainable future through art, movement, and participation.

Ferries run from Manhattan, Red Hook/Atlantic Basin, and Brooklyn Bridge Park. Round-trip ferry tickets are $5.

Registration and donations are encouraged. Come celebrate the intersection of art, climate action, and community!
