Today Sheriff Gilbert along with several guests had the honor of recognizing 2 Mills Township Firefighters, Kyle Robertson & Kevin Yorton as well as Michigan State Police Trooper Andrew Farley with tokens of our appreciation for entering a fully engulfed Mills Township Residence to rescue a trapped & unconscious resident in December of 2024. It takes both courage & commitment to do what they knew had to be done and we consider it an honor to recognize & reward all 3 with a small token of our appreciation for their commitment to duty, our community & it’s citizens. Well done Gentlemen & Congratulations!!
