Huge thanks to everyone who joined us last week to celebrate the launch of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) NYU Student Chapter!
Professor Anton Rozhkov (NYU Center for Urban Science + Progress ) delivered an inspiring opening remark, followed by a technical presentation on urban extreme heat by Professor Anamika Shreevastava (CUSP, MAE), who directs the Urban Planet Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering .
The event was facilitated and hosted by our chapter president, Snigdha Anantharaju, with the help of our e-board members, Abhishek Kumar, Sohei Yamada , and Ruoyu Li. Special thanks go to the NYU Center for Urban Science + Progress for all the support in making this event possible!
