Hey there GCA Neighbors ~ it is time for our ANNUAL FUN LOVING GCA BLOCK PARTY!! 🎉🥳YAY!!🎈🎊

When: Sunday, August 30th
Time: 2:00pm - 6:00 pm
Where: Bob & Sue Durante's Front Yard
9214 Elsmere Drive

Please respond here (for planning purposes) and then drop off your participation fee ($5) to 📫Mary's mailbox at 9503 Elsmere Drive by August 25th.

We will gladly supply the plates, cutlery, napkins, pizza & soda pop. 🍕🥤
We hope to have a few games, music and loads of fun for kids and the adults!

Please bring a dish to share and if you wish your 🍻 adult beverages in a cooler and bring a chair if you can! Also feel free to bring a friend, your kids & grandchildren, some games and your fun spirit! 🎯🧲

Encourage your neighbors to stop by ~ as we have many new neighbors in the past year...let's meet them and get to know each other better!☺️

A community that knows each other also watches out for each other is a GREAT ONE! We do have a wonderful GCA neighborhood!!🙌🤗. We will bring you news from city hall and beyond! Please come by & relax and enjoy the end of the beautiful summer!🌅

Sad 😭news about our former neighbor, Louise, on Elsmere Dr. Although she moved in w/her daughter a few years ago, after living here on Elsmere for about 30 years, Louise was a great and wonderfully kind lady! 😇She was always so good with the kids and she kept her yard & house so neat & clean .... she just celebrated her 90th birthday! Now gone to Heaven!🙏R.I.P. 💔Louise!✝️

Don't forget to show your appreciation for John the mailman by putting up a sign, &/or balloons, &/or making out a card. 🎈🎈
Many of our neighbors are joining in to recognize John's service to our community with various gestures. Thank you. 💟
John (Mucic), our dedicated and hardworking long-time 📨mailman, is set to retire this month on Thursday, April 30th.
The GCA has designated the last week of April as "The John Mucic Exceptional Mailman Week."
This week marks the culmination of John's career, and we thank him for his outstanding service.📫
Take a look at a few of the signs/balloons our appreciative neighbors left out for John to see!! He will be missed!!
God bless John and may he enjoy his retirement! 💟🤗

Hey GCA Neighbors: Time to celebrate a truly remarkable individual, John (Mucic), our dedicated and hardworking long-time Mailman🇺🇸, as he retires this month, on April 30th! 🎊📪
The GCA is going to declare the last week in April-"The John Mucic Exceptional Mailman week"!📩
We are suggesting that week of April 25-30th that neighbors make a thank you/retirement sign, &/or put balloons at their front door for John to see‼️🎈Also perhaps tape a retirement or thank you card to the front door with his name on it - he has been a wonderful mailman & a great human being!❄️🌨️☔️
If you are going out of town Rita Pollack & daughter, Renee (on Parkland) offered to collect cards or even any donations to John and personally hand them to him on his last day, 4/30/26!🎁

Many neighbors wanted us to host a farewell party, 🎂🥳but humble and easy-going John prefers a quiet departure. Let's respect his wishes! So, we/the GCA are going to declare the last week in April-"John the exceptional Mailman week"!📩
