“Hi, I’m Gus. Apparently, I’ve become one of the rescue’s longest residents, which seems highly suspicious because I’m objectively adorable.
Since nobody has scooped me up yet, I spent some time in a board-and-train program. I worked hard, learned a ton, and am proud to report that I graduated with honors in being a very good boy. Now I’m ready for my next chapter: a foster home.
I do have one little quirk. Okay, maybe not so little. When I love my person, I REALLY love my person. My ideal home is either one person with no other pets, or two people with no other pets who are equally involved in my care. The rescue says I tend to pick a favorite human and then act like everyone else didn’t get the memo. Personally, I call that loyalty.
In return, you’ll get a smart, goofy, affectionate boy who’s worked incredibly hard and is ready to show off everything he’s learned. I just need someone willing to give me a chance. So, if you’ve been thinking about fostering, maybe you could be the person who helps me find my way home,”- Gus.
