🆘NEGLECTED DOG LEFT TO DIE FROM PNEUMONIA🆘

Ruby is a young dog who never deserved the suffering he’s endured. He ended up in a kill shelter in heartbreaking condition. His fur was so severely matted that it covered his eyes, leaving him unable to see. He was frightened, uncomfortable, and desperately in need of help.

The moment we learned his story, we knew we couldn’t turn our backs on him. But Ruby’s struggles didn’t end there. Once we rescued him, we discovered he was ill. He had to be rushed to the emergency hospital, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and began receiving urgent medical care.

Please help us give Ruby a second chance at life. Donate today! -> https://amaanimalrescue.org/donate/ or Zelle: [email protected] or Venmo: or PayPal: https://shorturl.at/3oGMD or CashApp: https://shorturl.at/T2dhu

💔 NO DOG SHOULD EVER HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS 💔

This senior blind dog, Isaiah, came to us severely neglected, painfully skinny, and very badly matted. Soon after his rescue, he suffered a serious GI flare-up that required hospitalization and had us very worried.

Today, we’re happy to report that Isaiah has been groomed, gained some weight, received treatment for his severe dry eye, and is feeling so much better. He’s now a happy little guy who is absolutely obsessed with everyone he meets and is enjoying a comfortable life while he waits for his forever home. Thank you to everyone who helped make Isaiah’s rescue possible!

If you’d like to help us save more animals like Isaiah, please consider becoming an Angel for Mistreated Animals. Your monthly donation can be the reason we’re able to say “yes” to the next animal in need. -> https://amaanimalrescue.org/donate/

💔 How is it possible that Mable is still waiting for a home? At just 9 months old, this beautiful 36 lb Hound Mix should be spending her days growing up with a family, yet she’s still waiting in our shelter facility in Brooklyn, NY for someone to choose her. Mable is everything people dream of in a puppy: bright, affectionate, playful, outgoing, and always ready to make new friends. She loves people, thrives on attention, enjoys running around the yard, and is just as happy curling up for cuddles afterward. Like any puppy, she’ll need basic training and guidance as she continues learning about the world, but her eagerness to please and loving nature make her an incredible companion in the making. We truly cannot understand why this sweet girl continues to be overlooked, and we’re hoping her future family sees this post. Please share Mable’s story and help us find her the loving home she deserves: https://amaanimalrescue.org/pet/mable/ 🐾🏡

Get ready to meet one of the silliest and most expressive dogs you’ll come across today. Octavius was surrendered at only a couple months old, likely after being born in a backyard breeding situation, After coming into our care needing medical attention, this goofy boy bounced right back and is now ready to finally find a family that can keep up with all his love, antics, and energy. 💛

At just 1 year old and 45 lbs, Octavius is a full-time Velcro dog with absolutely no concept of personal space, if you sit down, congratulations, you now have a Octavius attached to you. He loves kids, dogs, and is currently fostered with a cat, proving he’s determined to befriend basically every creature he meets. He’s quirky, wildly expressive, obsessed with snacks, and has enough personality for five dogs packed into one wiggly body. Octavius would thrive with an adopter experienced in training and a fenced yard where he can zoom around and live his best chaotic little life. He has spent his entire puppy hood homeless, we don’t want anymore years to go by before finding his forever home. To adopt Octavius, please visit our website: https://amaanimalrescue.org/pet/octavius/

One of Almond’s puppies, Walnut, suddenly became very lethargic. We rushed him to the emergency hospital as quickly as possible. The vets told us that his temperature was dropping dangerously low. He has been hospitalized and is receiving emergency care.

Emergency veterinary care and hospitalization are extremely expensive, so if you are able to donate anything at all to help with these emergency bills, we would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for standing with us! -> https://amaanimalrescue.org/donate/ or Zelle: [email protected] or Venmo: or PayPal: https://shorturl.at/3oGMD or CashApp: https://shorturl.at/T2dhu

Today, Sarah Smolak appeared in Stamford court facing charges of criminal damage to her landlord’s property and four counts of animal cruelty.

In a major step toward justice, her application for the Supervised Diversionary Program (SDP) was denied in Stamford today. This means she will not have the opportunity to simply complete a program and walk away with these charges erased. Instead, she will now have to either accept a plea deal or face trial.

This decision follows another denial issued last Friday in Torrington, Connecticut. Two different judges, in two different courts, heard the facts, listened to the victims, and made what we believe was the right decision.

Today, the victims in Stamford court were also given the opportunity to be heard. Their voices mattered. Their pain mattered. And we are grateful the court listened.

While Marshmallow is still missing and so many questions remain unanswered, today was an important step in the right direction toward justice for the animals and for every victim impacted by this case.

Smolak remains incarcerated pending her next court date.

Petey was adopted!!! 💛 And if there was ever a dog who deserved the happiest ending, it was him. Before finding his forever family, Petey was found in the middle of winter unable to walk without pain from a severe leg injury, left suffering alone on the streets. Thankfully, one kind person refused to look away. The family brought him home, reached out to us for help, and then stood by his side by fostering him through every medical appointment, surgery, and difficult month of recovery. We still don’t know exactly what happened to his leg, but we knew he needed urgent care to save it. Through it all, this brave little dog kept fighting, and with the help of his incredible foster family, the support of 15/10 Foundation, and all of you, Petey got the second chance he deserved.

And now Petey, lovingly renamed Poppa, is exactly where he was always meant to be, home. His foster family completely fell in love with this resilient little guy and realized they couldn’t imagine life without him. Poppa is now pain free, fully recovered, spoiled by a big loving family, and finally living the joyful life every dog deserves. After everything he endured, there’s nothing better than knowing he will never have to suffer or feel unwanted again. If you’d like to help us save more lives, just like Petey’s, you may do so by becoming one of the Angels for Mistreated Animals. Your small monthly donation will mean the world to us and to every innocent pet that comes into our care.

Sophie was undoubtedly someone’s house cat before she ended up abandoned on the streets. Whether she was already pregnant when she was thrown away or became pregnant while struggling to survive outside, the heartbreaking outcome was the same — for whatever reason, her tiny body could not carry her babies to full term.

Tragically, Sophie gave birth to multiple stillborn kittens, but the suffering didn’t end there. The person who discovered Sophie noticed that she was also suffering from a prolapse, a painful and extremely dangerous medical condition that can quickly become fatal if left untreated.

We were contacted to help this poor girl… and honestly, how could we say no? Sophie has already been betrayed, abandoned, and left to suffer alone. Now she desperately needs urgent medical care.

Please, if you can, help us save Sophie’s life today. Donate now! -> https://amaanimalrescue.org/donate/ or Zelle: [email protected] or Venmo: or PayPal: https://shorturl.at/3oGMD or CashApp: https://shorturl.at/T2dhu
