The Yellow Tulip Project

The Yellow Tulip Project The Yellow Tulip Project is meant to let people know that “Hope Happens”. Circumstances can and will change. Why Yellow Tulips?

The Yellow Tulip Project is fiercely dedicated to spreading hope and reminding others that they are never alone in their suffering. Even in the darkest of places, hope is always there and su***de should never be an option. The yellow tulip represents happiness and hope. They also remind Julia, our founder, of her two best friends who she lost to su***de. The tulip was one friend's favorite flower

and yellow was the other's favorite color. One in five people suffer from some form of mental illness, it's not taboo, and it's time to talk about it! Our mission is dedicated to opening conversations about mental illness, smashing the stigma, and reminding people that they don't need to suffer alone. The Yellow Tulip Project sees hope happen every day, join our mission on our journey to smash the stigma!

To wrap up Mental Health Awareness Month, the YTP Team chose vulnerability.

We created our own versions of I Am More: Facing Stigma as a reminder that every person is so much more than their struggles, titles, diagnoses, or hardest moments. Behind every face is a story, a journey, a dream, a passion, and a life filled with complexity and hope.💛

Through this project, we hope to encourage honest conversations, deeper connections, and compassion, both for ourselves and for one another. We invite you to reflect on your own “I Am More” statements and celebrate all the things that make you uniquely you.

Because you are more. Always.
