Hi all. My fabulous friend and neighbor is helping folks go solar. We did it. So have many on our block. See the event below to find out more : Curious about making your house more green and saving lots of money on your monthly bills? Come to a Sustainable Sunset Park picnic next Thursday, June 27th, 5-8pm at the West Lawn (5th Avenue facing slope, straight up from the 5th Av/43rd St entrance). There will be snacks and drinks. Katrin, a local homeowner who went solar and installed Heat Pumps will share the latest info about all the wonderful government incentive programs that help us make our homes more sustainable & lower our utility bills.
Would be lovely to watch the sunset together and share ideas and stories.

SUNSET PARK ACTIVATE!
On Tuesday Aug 18th, Sunset Park will be leveraging its resources against COVID19.

CB7, 5th Ave BID and AMPHS are seeking volunteers to help with distributing PPE and hand out educational materials along our most active corridors from 39th to 60th street.

Thank you in advance for volunteering even for a minimum of 1 hour. If you belong to a FBgroup, Block Assn, veterans hall, barbershop, club, union etc recruit just one other person to join you!
