So many things didn’t go as planned for this trip home to Detroit (that’s why I usually don’t “plan”) but I’m grateful I made it here and that my new book, Food Gifts, was so well received. Huge gratitude goes to Source Booksellers & to Cooking With Que for making space for me and loving on me. To all my loved ones who were able to show up for me and to the ones who intended to and life got in the way. Love you all and I’ll see you on my next trip Home.
