From weekday gatherings to Sunday worship, there are many ways to take part in the life of Grace throughout the coming week

What begins in worship is meant to continue beyond it.

Through Keith Hampton’s Praise His Holy Name, Sunday’s anthem reminds us that praising God is not confined to a hymn, an anthem, or a particular moment in Mass. It can be expressed through gratitude, service, compassion, and the ways we care for our neighbors.

Carry that spirit into the week ahead, and gather with us again this Sunday as we continue our life together in worship.

A Sacred Celebration of Remembrance, Faith, and Hope

Grace Lutheran Church of Brooklyn welcomes the community to a special All Saints Mass featuring Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, Op. 48. This special celebration is open to everyone, with no admission fee.

Through the beauty of sacred music, offered by choir, organ, strings, and harp, we gather to remember those who have gone before us in faith and reflect on the Christian promise of resurrection and eternal life.

Whether you're remembering a loved one, seeking a moment of peace, or wishing to experience the beauty of sacred music within worship, all are welcome.

Free and open to the public! Register for this special All Saints Mass through Eventbrite:

Today, Grace joins congregations across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in marking “God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday, a day that reminds us how faith comes to life through service to our neighbors.

Here at Grace Lutheran Church of Brooklyn, that call to serve was reflected through our Annual Backpack Drive, with our congregation and community coming together to collect 68 school kits for Lutheran World Relief. These kits will help provide students with essential supplies as they begin the school year prepared and ready to learn.

We give thanks for every donation, every helping hand, and every person who helped make this ministry possible. Today, we celebrate this shared expression of faith and the many ways God’s work is carried into the world through our hands.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the courage of first responders and all who came to the aid of others, and the families and communities who continue to carry the weight of that day.

As a community of faith in New York City, we hold these memories in prayer. We pray for those who grieve, for those whose lives were forever changed, and for peace in our city and throughout the world.

May we continue to meet one another with compassion, serve our neighbors and carry hope forward.
