This evening, we gather in the spirit of Canarsie’s very own, Bashar “Pop Smoke” Jackson, to celebrate leaders, advocates, creatives, and changemakers who continue to uplift Brooklyn and beyond.

These honorees represent excellence, service, and purpose. Different paths. Same heart. Community.

Their work reflects what Shar stood for. Ambition. Loyalty. Love for the people.
