Camping to Connect is excited to offer a series of outdoor experiences and opportunities for BIPOC young men living in Denver/Aurora, CO, ages 13-18, to learn about the healing power of nature in a spirit of fellowship and community building.
On Saturday, May 4, 2024, in partnership with Vibe Tribe Adventures, Kids Above Everything, we’ll embark on a Day Hike at Genesee Park that will allow us to explore and better understand our natural surroundings, strengthen observation skills, and help us learn about the value of perspective in the way we see the world and ourselves. Transportation to/from hiking trail will be provided.
Starting this month, thanks to a grant by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Camping to Connect is partnering with BIPOC-focused community organizations to offer a series of day hikes, camping weekends, wellness workshops and career panels for BIPOC young men living in Denver, Aurora, and Colorado Springs, CO.
