It saddens me to say this, but after nearly almost 20 years of dreaming, building, designing, branding, and publicly speaking life into the “Brooklyn Walk of Fame” vision… I recently discovered that the name and concept were officially registered by someone else.

During years of life challenges and while deciding whether the project would become a nonprofit or for-profit organization, I failed to renew and secure the domain in time. Unfortunately, someone else moved forward with the filings, copyrights, and ownership.

This project was truly my baby. The artwork, concepts, emails, social media pages, and years of conversations are proof of the vision I carried for Brooklyn culture, history, music, film, fashion, and legends.

It hurts deeply… but one thing nobody can ever take away is the original vision, passion, and purpose behind it.

Brooklyn will always live in me. 🖤✨
