This event will take place in two sessions: session 1 will be from 10AM - 1PM, and session 2 from 5:30PM - 8PM.

The 12th Annual Children’s Halloween Festival and Parade welcome children ages 1-14yrs old and their families to enjoy a FREE day of Halloween fun! With entertainment ranging from Magic Shows, Inflatable Mazes, Caricature Art, Face Painting, Arts-and-Crafts, and more!

💀 The first 1,200 children will receive a goodie-bag and a wristband to Luna Park in Coney Island to enjoy rides after the parade!

👻 All participants must arrive in costume and will automatically be enrolled in the official Coney Island Halloween Costume Contest for a chance to win great prizes in the following categories:
- Most Creative Costume
- Best Group Costume
- Funniest Costume
- Best Coney Island Themed Costume

🎃 Registration opens on-site at 10:30 AM the day of the event and all children must arrive in costume and be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older to enter.

On October 9th, join the Alliance for Coney Island for a conversation on LGBTQ+ history in the neighborhood! Author Hugh Ryan (When Brooklyn Was Q***r) and filmmaker and Le***an Herstory Archives Coordinator Alexis Clements will be in conversation about q***r history in Coney Island, offering new insights, anecdotes, and some images on a history that might not be readily known to the general public.
