Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post #7096

Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post #7096 Edward F. Lukoski Post 7096 was mustered on April 27th, 1956 and we have been serving combat veterans and their families ever since. Franklin. Lukoski. EDWARD F.

All-American Post 2020-2022 All-State Post 2020-2022 Toward the end of 1943 Aviation Machinist Mate 3/C Lukoski was assigned on board the well known aircraft carrier U.S.S. The fateful story of the Franklin is one that is known throughout the world. This carrier was torpedoed once during the task force invasion of Japan and while this invasion was in progress a group of Japanese Kamakaze aircraft

dove head on into the Franklin. The results were disastrous when the final count was taken nearly 2,000 men lost their lives. Among them Aviation Machinist Mate 3/C Edward F. We deem it an honor and privilege for our Post to bear his name. LUKOSKI POST NO. 7096
Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
