Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post #7096 Edward F. Lukoski Post 7096 was mustered on April 27th, 1956 and we have been serving combat veterans and their families ever since. Franklin. Lukoski. EDWARD F.

All-American Post 2020-2022 All-State Post 2020-2022 Toward the end of 1943 Aviation Machinist Mate 3/C Lukoski was assigned on board the well known aircraft carrier U.S.S. The fateful story of the Franklin is one that is known throughout the world. This carrier was torpedoed once during the task force invasion of Japan and while this invasion was in progress a group of Japanese Kamakaze aircraft dove head on into the Franklin. The results were disastrous when the final count was taken nearly 2,000 men lost their lives. Among them Aviation Machinist Mate 3/C Edward F. We deem it an honor and privilege for our Post to bear his name. LUKOSKI POST NO. 7096
Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.

Our Commander attended the Soldiers & Sailors memorial day ceremony which was built in remembrance of our Civil War dead, but it continues on in honor of all who served and died under our flag. Its important that we never forget the sacrifices of all our Veterans especially those that gave their lives for our Nation. Without them our democracy couldn't live on! Honor them always

Today 2 of our members attended USAG Fort Hamiltons Employment Fair for about 400 soldiers that were drilling this weekend. They represented the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Bureau Battle Buddies ensuring that our Veterans and Reservists are aware of the job opportunities available to them in the civilian sector. Made some new friends and met up with some old friends while there. Darren & Mike

In Oct 2025 a Torrential Rainstorm dumped more than six inches of water in parts of Bklyn. Stormwater flooded our basement, when the water finally receded our basement was devastated. The water left our furniture and materials unsalvageable. As part of TMC/TMF NYC's Continued Support to its Veterans. They are helping us out to dispose of the water damaged furniture and materials. From there our Post can rebuild anew...March 1st 10am visit the TMC link below to register https://www.missioncontinues.org/event/details/?id=a1lWP00000282En
