Flo’s Journey is a nonprofit organization established in memory of Flo Cora, a former camper and counselor at Camp Ramapo. Founded by his daughter and friends, the organization aims to empower creative youth from underprivileged neighborhoods by providing safe, engaging environments where children and young adults can explore the arts, develop leadership skills, and build a sense of community. In partnership with Ramapo, Flo’s Journey funds scholarships, enabling children with special needs to experience transformative camp programs. Their dedication ensures that Flo’s legacy of compassion and mentorship continues to inspire and uplift future generations.

Because of your generosity, Flo's Journey raised enough money to send William to Ramapo for Children in 2024.

We got the chance to meet William during his summer at Ramapo for Children. He was incredibly gracious for being able to go back to Ramapo for Children. One of William's favorite activities was basketball. If you worked at Ramapo when Flo worked there you have almost certainly seen Flo playing basketball with a kid. Maybe it was during his mustasche days. Maybe it was in the 2000's. Either way it was nice thinking about how these two would have gotten along.

Hi Facebook Family, thank you all for your support and donations. I am excited to announce Flo's Journey Inc will officially sponsor one camper for the upcoming 3-week session at Ramapo for Children . Your donations allowed us to create a scholarship fund to support a campers full stay at Ramapo as well as basic needs/toiletries a camper will need for the session. Please look out for updates on our campers journey this summer. Our goal is to sponsor three or more campers by summer 2025.
