A beautiful game. A true memory. A Haitian 💙 forever beyond the Cup.
At first, Mom was happy every time Brazil controlled the ball. But the moment Brazil scored, she turned to me and said, “Nope, Haiti has to win!” 😂🇭🇹
I was confused, but then I realized: while she admired the beautiful game ⚽, her heart never left Haiti 🇭🇹.
Yesterday’s match 🇭🇹🇧🇷 was a reminder to my fellow Haitians: our faith is stronger than many think, and our hope never wavers. Through every challenge, we continue to believe, persevere, and stand proud.
And for my mother, Haiti always. 🇭🇹❤️ .
