came from my desire to create an organization that provides awareness to the stigma of obesity amongst minority girls within the urban city. is currently a lifestyle whose ultimate goal is to become a full-fledged not-for-profit organization. You don't have to be a super model, eat grass, sew your mouth shut, staple your stomach or even run a marathon every day to live a healthier life. Just a few
changes a day/week/month can make a difference in your health. And yes...there are going to be days when you're going to want a sundae, that second piece of pie or the whole pint of Hagen Dazs......the truth of the matter is we all will. We all do!!! After all we're human. But what is important is that we break out of the prison of the shame of these things and do whatever it takes to take back our health and our lives. That is what F.A.T.G.I.R.L. That is who SHE is!!! F.A.T.G.I.R.L. is our mother!!! SHE is our sister!!! SHE is our friend!!! SHE IS YOU!!! F.AT.G.I.R.L. is ME!!! This page is dedicated to EVERY woman that struggles (as I do) with obesity. This page is my way of saying THANK YOU to God and each of you who has prayed with me and for me during my journey!!! On this page I will chronicle the remainder of my journey through a series of Fitness Journals, -there will be some good days and I'm sure that there will be some bad ones as well. But the most important thing that I promise to give you is honesty and transparency!! I hope that my transparency will serve as an instrument to help someone else more than myself!!
