Delivering fresh homemade Challahs (and flowers) to a friend who isn’t feeling well. We are now entering the Jewish month of Iyar אייר which stands for Ani Hashem Rophecha אני ה׳ רופאך. Tonight we celebrate the 7th day of Passover when Hashem split the Sea for the Jews fleeing the pursuing Egyptian army. We are taught that tonight is a night when all the gates of Heaven are open, new souls enter into the world, Prayers are answered and the hidden becomes revealed. May we see healing and Redemption throughout the world! Chabad custom is to remain awake all night learning Torah. Join us from 9:30pm -1am at Chabad of Dumbo. Chag Sameach!

Bedikas Chametz the search for Chametz is tonight after nightfall 8pm.
Tomorrow we stop eating Chametz before 10:51AM and sell and burn our Chametz before 11:55AM.
We will be burning Chametz at 11AM sharp! Tomorrow night join us for the Seder at 8:30PM.
Passover we celebrate redemption from Egypt in the past and from our own current and present exiles. To prepare for this we get rid of our Chametz “leavened bread”. In order to be taken out of our own personal exile we need to get rid of our personal Chametz, our ego and with this we can hear the message of Hashem leading us into redemption. This year may we all merit to be redeemed from our personal and collective exiles and journey together to the Holy Land.
