Community Call for Support ✨

Many of you know and love Malang Bayo — our brother, our teacher, our joy. From Los Angeles to New York City, Malang has been a pillar of the African Dance community. His voice, his movement, and his spirit have touched thousands. He has given so much of himself to uplift others, to preserve culture, and to bring people together through music and dance.

Today, Malang needs us.

He has been very sick and hospitalized for some time, and he is unable to work. His wife is carrying a tremendous weight as she cares for him and their family during this difficult period.

If Malang has ever inspired you, taught you, hugged you, danced beside you, or simply made your day brighter, I’m asking you to give back in any way you can. No amount is too small. Every contribution helps support his family and reminds them that this community stands with them.

Please donate directly to his wife to help them through this challenging time. Your kindness will make a real difference.

Thank you for showing up for someone who has shown up for so many.

❤️ Let’s lift Malang the way he has lifted us.
