Each workshop, a different selection of 8 NYC-based artists gather at Sound Collective to remix audio-visual sample packs drawn from RC's ethical archive — recordings made with Global Majority musicians from 14+ diaspora lineages right here in our city.

Using Ableton Live + EboSuite, you'll create remixes where sound and image fuse into one expressive medium. By the end of each five-hour gathering, you could walk away with your own audio-visual loops — beats, melodies, basslines, hooks.

🫡 It's not just a workshop. It's a movement.
Your remixes join a growing library of community-generated work. And two RoN participants will be selected to perform live at our end-of-year Remix Our Neighbors Live Experience in NYC — as paid performing artists.

“Ayni” comes from Quechua, Aymara and other Indigenous communities in the Andean mountains. It loosely translates to "reciprocity," and serves as one of the guiding principles defining their way of life. We honor this principle and invite it into the RC Collective.

With in-person ticket sales going quickly and so many of our non-NYC-based supporters expressing their excitement for this project, we have decided to partner with and offer a LIVESTREAM of the TANFIS IV experience! You can tune in TOMORROW (Tues. 4/14) at 7pm EST. Accessing the Livestream will be free, though you can make a donation ($10 suggested, but any amount is appreciated).
