Swerve Church Swerve is a life giving, gospel centered church in Bushwick Brooklyn. Swerve Church is a new church in the neighborhood of Bushwick in Brooklyn in NYC.

Join us Sundays at 11 am - 239 Stanhope St. Our mission as a church is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We're passionate about loving God, loving people, and serving our community. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, our hope is that Swerve Church can be your community to help and encourage you to grow.

SERVE SUNDAY IS COMING 🙌

Sunday June 28 - 11am - Inside of PS 377 - 200 Woodbine St

Church isn’t something we watch. It’s something we build—together.

Every Sunday, people encounter Jesus because someone chose to serve. A smiling face helped them feel seen. A safe and joyful kids environment helped a parent take a deep breath and hear God’s Word. A team member arrived early to create a space where people could worship, connect, and grow.

This Father’s Day, we invite you to a gathering that honors the high calling of fatherhood—not just with gifts and gratitude, but with real encouragement, biblical insight, and the challenge to live boldly and faithfully.

What is the most valuable thing you own—and would you be willing to give it up in a single moment of absolute devotion?

This week we look at a powerful, intimate encounter between Jesus and a woman with an incredibly costly alabaster jar of perfume. We will be challenged to look past our own stingy faith and cultural idols to understand that true worship is always costly.

When you look at your time, your talents, and your life, what are the objects of worship you are still holding onto, and how will you respond to a King who gave everything for you?
