All ages welcome -- come visit Santa on December 6 from 10 to 1. Don't forget to sign up for tree/wreath giveaway while there. And the kids can pick out gifts at the Brooklyn Community United Methodist Church regifting space.

Santa Day is coming !!
Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Methodist Church in Brooklyn. 10am -1pm
Events include: Door prize-gift cert to Boy Scout tree lot
Free regifting center, even wrapping
Free crafts
Jolly Ol St. Nick, treat bag to each child
Lunch Stand

Brooklyn's Santa Day is Dec. 6 from 10am - 1pm at the Methodist Church. Regifting center, crafts, wreath and tree give away, lunch for sale and of course Santa!
The Brooklyn Area Chamber needs a Santa this year. Our long time jolly old elf is under the weather, we have the suit etc. Please contact Linda at (608)213-5592 [email protected]

4th church on tour:
Cookesville Lutheran
Main church built in 1892 but burned in 1896. The new church was built in 1897. A basement was added in 1930. In the late ,1940's it was expanded.
On the walls in the nave are the names of everyone baptized there going back to 1890s. The stars you see.

3rd church on tour:
St. Ann Parish, Stoughton.

Second church on tour:
Covenant Lutheran Church, Stoughton. This church was built in 1978 when Central Lutheran Church merged with Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
They have a museum in lower level. Many historical items came from previous churches.
Alter from Central- hand carved in 1913 by Lois Lang. Original baptism font from Our Savior. Stained glass from each in bell tower.
The City of Stoughton operates a clothes closet in their lower level

Today is the Churches tour. Two groups of us will be going- one starting with Stoughton Churches 1-4 pm, then Cookesville, then....As time permits. Maybe we will see you out there.
