What a magical weekend preparing and performing at Carnegie Hall under the baton of Sir John Rutter! It was an incredible honor to bring to life the NY premiere of his work I’ll Make Me A World, along with his ever-gorgeous Requiem.

Join us and Director for an encore sing-through of the Requiem on Monday, July 27 as part of the Summer Sings at Judson Memorial Church! We can’t wait to crack open these scores once again— we hope to see you there! 🎶

Congratulations to our new board members, elected at our annual meeting last month! The meeting was (as always) an excellent opportunity to review the past year and go over our upcoming programming for 2026-27 👀👀(and eat pizza!)

Our “regular season” may be over, but there are several performances coming featuring Grace performers, so stay tuned for updates on that!

Our hearts are so full after our two successful concerts this past weekend. Much more reflection and content to come, but for now, we want to simply express our gratitude to everyone who helped make this program possible. From our director, Hannah Nacheman, who challenged us with a selection of musically complex and emotionally powerful pieces, to our soloists and who brought incredible artistic interpretation to the works, to our amazing (and huge!) orchestra whose sound transformed our renditions, to all of our sponsors and patrons whose financial support helps us keep the music going, to every single member of GCB : none of this would have been possible without you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We hope A More Perfect Union moved you and left you filled with hope and peace.
