✅ And that’s a wrap! First upstate, NY 🍂 residency through THE CREATORS COLLECTIVE at the Canal Street Marketplace in Fort Edward, NY culminated yesterday, and what a joy it was. Donna Costello worked on developing a work to be performed in NYC this November and will return to Fort Edward in summer 2023 to continue building connection. This fall, THE CREATORS COLLECTIVE produced the second iteration of Artists Elevating Immigrant Narratives. Throughout October and November, immigrant artists, children of immigrants, and artists closely connected to the immigrant community collaborated to create site-specific performance and visual art in Prospect Park that was presented at a culminating event on Saturday, November 16, 2019.

The culminating event of Artists Elevating Immigrant Narratives began with a series of site-specific, collaborative works performed at various destinations starting at the Prospect Park Boathouse and ending at Lefferts Historic House. The evening culminated with a campfire chat with the artists - with s'mores!

We can’t stop thinking about how special Artists Elevating Immigrant Narratives was this past Saturday in Prospect Park.
