Legacy College Prep 2026 Voter Registration Drive Retrospective

The 2026 Legacy College Prep voter registration initiative served as this year’s annual Epsilon Chapter Voter Registration activation, continuing the chapter’s commitment to civic engagement, voter education, and community empowerment ahead of the upcoming election season.

The initiative was successfully coordinated under the leadership of Brother Kayron Davis, an administrator at the school, and focused on increasing civic participation among eligible students and future voters. The event provided students with an opportunity to better understand the importance of voting, civic responsibility, and the direct impact political engagement has on our communities.

The activation was attended and supported by Brothers Richard Pierre, Lawrence Winslow, and Darrick Robinson, who worked collaboratively with school leadership and students throughout the registration effort. Collectively, the chapter registered 63 voters who are currently eligible to vote or who will become eligible during the upcoming fall election season.

As the VREM Committee continues building on these efforts, our focus is increasingly expanding beyond voter registration alone and toward voter mobilization, education, and turnout. Registering voters is only the first step. The larger mission is ensuring our communities remain informed, engaged, and ultimately make it to the polls.

In partnership with D9 Harlem Votes, the Chapter will continue participating in upcoming voter education and mobilization activations throughout Harlem and surrounding communities. We encourage all Brothers to support these efforts and join us in continuing Omega’s longstanding tradition of civic leadership, community service, and collective action. Sustained participation from the Brotherhood will be essential as we work to strengthen voter engagement and community impact throughout this election cycle.
