Our Children’s Day Fundraiser starts today! In NYC, many child care centers require parents to provide a full day’s supply of diapers. For families already struggling to make ends meet, that cost can become a barrier to keeping children enrolled in care.⁠
At Little Essentials, we provide more than 10,000 diapers every month to help children stay in care and parents stay at work, in school, and on the path to stability. ⁠
Universal child care only works when families can actually access it.⁠
This June, join our Children’s Day Fundraiser and help us reach our goal of $45,000 for the 450,000 diapers we will distribute this year.⁠

Something big is coming next week!
Universal child care works best when families can actually access it — and for many NYC families, diapers are the missing piece.
Every day, parents are required to provide diapers to keep their children in care. Without them, children can lose access to child care altogether.
At Little Essentials, we’re working to change that.
In just a few days, we will launch our Children’s Day Fundraiser to help provide 450,000 free diapers to families across NYC.

We're so excited to announce Women's Night with the NY Mets,
Wednesday, August 26th, 7:10 PM. $10 from each ticket purchase will support Little Essentials' mission to help at-risk families living in poverty by providing urgently needed children’s supplies and parenting education to promote the health, well-being, and safety of their children ages 0-5. At Little Essentials, we have served 75,000 families and distributed 1.7 million diapers across NYC.
