Prospect Park CSA

Prospect Park CSA Weekly share pick-ups are Tuesdays from 5:30-8:15 p.m. at Franklin and St. Marks. The Prospect Park CSA is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) group.

We bring organic, sustainably grown vegetables, fruits and more from a family farm in Upstate New York to the Prospect Heights / Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn. What does this mean? It means, in partnership with Windflower Farm in Valley Falls, NY, we buy shares in fresh, healthy food straight from farms upstate. They bring us produce, eggs, fruit and flowers weekly throughout the growing

season. Our central aims are to foster a healthy food community, provide an affordable alternative to standard grocery shopping, and support local, sustainable farming and land use. Eliminating the middle man ensures the money spent goes directly to the farmers, which helps to support local jobs. Supporting local farms bolsters regional sustainability. Enhancing the availability of the freshest produce in Prospect Heights for people of all income levels, we work to increase food security in the community, while providing universal access to healthy foods. Our Partner Farms:
Vegetables, Flowers and Fruit shares are provided by Windflower Farm. Egg shares are provided by Elihu Farm.
