Made in NY Media Center by IFP We are a collaborative workspace and community dedicated to media and tech entrepreneurs, innovators, and artists. Come tell us your story.

Develop your ideas, projects, or company with us in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Mission
We are a collaborative workspace and community dedicated to supporting and connecting the next generation of media + tech entrepreneurs, innovators and artists by providing industry resources, events, mentorship and educational opportunities. Magic happens when different groups come together under one roof. New paradigms

and platforms emerge as storytellers and entrepreneurs work together to transform the creative process in the digital age. The center of everything
Brooklyn is home to boundary-shattering creative types from all around the world. It’s also a booming epicenter for the media, entertainment and digital technology sectors. We bring together under one roof — in Brooklyn’s most future-forward neighborhood — creators and entrepreneurs with the common mission of transforming the art of storytelling. Cross-discipline, cross-platform storytelling
Whether your field of work is film, television, gaming, social media, advertising, design, animation, music, mobile apps, transmedia, and more, we’re here to help you tell your story — through multiple mediums and across powerful new platforms. Our space in DUMBO
Our 20,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility in DUMBO combines workspaces, classrooms, exhibition venues and a public café, where storytellers, industry professionals and curiosity seekers come together to work, learn, innovate, explore and grow — together. Incubating innovation
A unique collaboration between the Made in NY business initiative, celebrating entrepreneurial innovation and content creation in New York City, and the Independent Filmmaker Project, the nation’s oldest and largest organization of independent filmmakers, we are a new kind of co-working space and exhibition venue designed to connect and incubate the next generation of artists and creators. Change surrounds us at every turn, in the cities we live in, the way we work in them, and the stories we create along the way. We’ll help you transform it. The past few months have been a difficult time for everyone and tough decisions have had to be made. The current global pandemic has significantly impacted how the Media Center can function as a financially sustainable and safe environment for our community and the general public. As a result, the Media Center will close effective August 7th.

Over the past seven years we have seen businesses grow and succeed, while providing vital programming to the creative entrepreneurial community and building long lasting relationships with our partners. While we will miss the opportunity to come together in a physical space, the future looks bright. In recent months, IFP has hosted a wide offering of virtual events, screenings and programs which has resulted in unprecedented attendance and membership growth. IFP will continue to provide programs, events and opportunities for storytellers, creatives and entrepreneurs to find collaborators, connect with and learn from industry leaders, as well as get their work seen by the media and entertainment community. We are in a strong position to serve more of our community nationwide and around the world and we hope that you will continue to engage in IFP programs and events as we grow. We thank you for your support over the years and look forward to embarking with you on the next chapter.
