🐾 BOSCH IS ADOPTED! 🤍🏡

Some dogs run up to their future families with tails wagging and kisses ready.

Bosch was never really that kind of girl.

She needed a minute.

Actually… sometimes she needed several minutes. 😂

When Bosch first came to us, this sweet 9-month-old Great Pyrenees mix was incredibly timid. Even something as simple as walking on a leash felt like a very big ask.

Her preferred response?

Plant feet. Become statue. Refuse further comment.

But little by little, Bosch started figuring things out.

One walk became two.
Her tail started coming up.
Then came the little wags.
And slowly, that shy girl started showing us just how sweet she really was. 🤍

She never became the wild, bouncing puppy you might expect from a dog her age. Bosch has always carried herself like a very serious little lady who somehow skipped puppyhood and went directly into adulthood. 😂

But we knew that playful puppy was hiding in there somewhere.

She just needed people who would give her the time and safety to find her.

And then these two came along. 🥹

They came to meet some of our dogs, met Bosch, and saw exactly what we had been seeing all along.

Not just the shy dog standing in front of them.

But the incredibly gentle, loving girl underneath.

And just like that…

Bosch got her people. 🏡🤍

Now she gets to keep discovering that the world can be a pretty wonderful place—with a family beside her for every new experience.

We have a feeling that once Bosch realizes she’s HOME home, that very dignified “big girl” act might start slipping…

…and a goofy 9-month-old puppy may finally make an appearance. 😂🐾

Take your time, sweet Bosch.

You’ve already come so far.

Happy tails, beautiful girl. You did it. 🤍🏡✨

Hi, I’m Tofu!

I’m Tofu, a 3-month-old Catahoula mix, and I’d like to begin by making something extremely clear:

I AM READY.

Ready for what?

Honestly, I didn’t hear the question.

BUT I’M READY.

I’m an enthusiastic, outgoing, confident little puppy who isn’t particularly worried about...well...anything. New people? Fantastic. New experiences? Let’s go. Something interesting happening across the room?

TOFU IS ALREADY EN ROUTE.

We know I’m a Catahoula mix, although there’s probably something smaller mixed into my family tree because the shelter doesn’t think I’m destined to become an enormous dog.

What exactly is the mystery ingredient?

No idea.

Perhaps one day a DNA test will reveal that I am 63% Catahoula, 22% Something Smaller, and 15% UNBRIDLED ENTHUSIASM.

Whatever my eventual size, I’m still an active puppy who needs a family prepared to actually do things with me.

I need training.

I need structure.

I need exercise—and preferably the fun kind. Adventures! Walks! Games! Training sessions! Interesting places to sniff! Things that make my puppy brain work!

I’m starting out confident and eager to experience the world, which gives my future family a fantastic foundation to build on.

But please don’t mistake “confident and adorable” for “comes fully assembled.”

Some assembly is definitely required.

If you’re looking for a happy, outgoing puppy and you’re excited about putting in the work to help him become an equally fantastic adult dog...

Tofu would like to know why you’re still reading.

THERE ARE ADVENTURES TO BEGIN.

MARGARITA UPDATE 🍹🐾💕

Remember Marge?!

Well, Marge has officially left the building.

These days, she goes by Margarita. 🍹✨

And judging by the update her family sent us, Margarita has adjusted to her new life approximately way too well. 😂

Since leaving the shelter, she’s been very busy playing, lounging, posing for questionable late-night photos, sleeping like she pays absolutely ZERO bills, and generally enjoying all the perks that come with being somebody’s very spoiled little cat.

You know… important work.

🥹 But seriously, look at her.

That first photo is Margarita on the day she went home, and seeing her now—completely relaxed, completely comfortable, and clearly very, very loved—is exactly why we adore getting these updates.

There’s something so special about seeing the moment a shelter animal goes home…

…and then getting to see what home looks like months later. 💕

Apparently for Margarita, it looks like cozy naps, playtime, spa treatments, and having absolutely no responsibilities whatsoever.

As it should. 💅

Keep living the good life, Margarita. 🍹🐱💕

You certainly seem to have this whole “beloved house cat” thing figured out. 🥰

Hi, I’m Panda! 🐼

I’m Panda, a 4-month-old kitten who was found wandering around as a stray.

Now, nobody knows exactly what I was doing out there or where I came from, but one thing is pretty obvious:

I’ve met you humans before.

And overall?

My reviews are positive. ??

I’m a super sweet little guy who has clearly had some socialization in my past. I’m just a little shy when things are new, and I need a minute to figure out that I’m safe before my confidence catches up with me.

I’m not the kitten who’s going to arrive in your house, kick open the carrier door, and announce:

“HELLO FAMILY. WHERE ARE MY TOYS?”

I’ll probably be more like:

“Hello. I will be observing you from over here for a bit.”

And that’s okay.

Give me a calm home, let me settle in at my own pace, and give me the chance to discover that this new place—and these new people—are mine.

Because I’m still building confidence, I probably wouldn’t enjoy living with young, wild children who might want to chase, grab, or immediately become my very best friend. I’d much rather have people who understand that sometimes the quickest way to win over a shy kitten is to stop trying quite so hard and simply let him come to you.

Other cats?

Absolutely!

I could do wonderfully with feline friends and may even appreciate having another cat around to show me how things work.

But do I need another cat?

Nope.

I’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only, bravely accepting the tremendous responsibility of receiving every single bit of attention in the household.

It’s a difficult job.

But Panda is willing to make that sacrifice.

I’m sweet.

I’m gentle.

I’m a little shy.

And underneath that cautious exterior is a wonderful little kitten who’s just waiting for the right place to feel completely safe.

Give Panda a quiet place to land, a little time to unpack his confidence, and watch him realize he’s finally home.🖤🤍

**UPDATE: ADOPTED💕**

Hi, I’m Maul!

I’m a 4-month-old kitten who appears to have been assembled using approximately 90% fluff and 10% actual cat.

Oh, and somebody forgot most of my tail.

I don’t mind. I think it adds character.

I’m a gorgeous long-haired little puffball who’s finally ready for adoption, and thankfully my personality is every bit as wonderful as my looks. I’m sweet, friendly, and ready to trade shelter life for a home where I can play, explore, cuddle, and generally be admired for how ridiculously cute I am.

My name may be Maul, but don’t let that intimidate you. I’m much more interested in conquering your couch than conquering the galaxy.

At 4 months old, I still have plenty of kitten energy, so my future will involve toys, zoomies, climbing, and probably a little harmless chaos. And with all this glorious long hair, my future family should also be prepared to keep me brushed and looking fabulous.

Maul is officially ready to find his forever home.

Come to the dark side. We have kittens.

Hi, I’m Lollipop! 🍭💕

I’m Lollipop, a 3-month-old Chihuahua mix who has created a bit of a mystery here at the shelter.

We know my mom is a Chihuahua.

We have met her.

We have confirmed her credentials.

Dad, however...

Sir?

Would you care to explain yourself?

Because I am walking around looking suspiciously like a tiny Jack Russell Terrier.

Long-lost Jack Russell gentleman in the neighborhood?

Perhaps.

Random combination of genes creating one very convincing disguise?

Also possible.

The investigation remains open.

Personality-wise, I’m a sweet little girl, but I like to take a second to evaluate new people before declaring them friends.

Who are you?

Why are you here?

Do you have snacks?

Okay...

You seem acceptable.

Once I know everything is cool, I’m happy to make friends! I’m just a little more reserved at first and appreciate being allowed to approach things at my own pace.

There’s also something my future family should know:
I’m not particularly interested in being carried around.

Yes, I’m tiny.
Yes, I’m adorable.
Yes, I am conveniently shaped for scooping.

That does not mean I have requested transportation.
I have four perfectly good little legs, thank you very much.

I’d much rather explore the world from ground level, go for walks, sniff interesting things, play, exercise, and experience life as the actual dog that I am.
I’m still only three months old, so my future family will have the exciting job of helping shape the dog I become through training, socialization, exercise, and lots of positive experiences.

Lollipop may take an extra minute to decide you’re her person.

But give her that minute.

Once you’ve passed the background check, you’ve got one adorable little puppy ready to start her life with you.

And if anyone happens to see a Jack Russell looking particularly nervous when we start asking questions about my father...

Please contact the shelter immediately.😂

SAMSUNG FOUND HER PEOPLE!! 😭🤍🐾

Our sweet, gentle Samsung has officially left the building!

Samsung came to us as a shy little soul who liked to take life at her own pace. She wasn’t the kind of pup who wanted to rush into anything—new people, new places, suspiciously shiny floors… all things that deserved some careful consideration first. 😂

But underneath that shyness was the LOVING, wonderfully sweet girl that everyone who spent time with her got to know.

And thankfully, her new family saw it too. 🥹

They saw past the nerves and gave Samsung the chance to show them exactly who she is. And judging by this family photo, we think she landed exactly where she was supposed to.

She even has a dog sibling now!! 😭🐾

Considering how much Samsung has always loved other dogs, we couldn’t have imagined a sweeter ending for her. She now has a built-in buddy to help show her the ropes, a whole family to build her confidence, and plenty of people to remind her that she can experience this big world at whatever pace feels right.

From our shy shelter girl to somebody’s beloved baby…

Samsung, you did it. 🤍

We hope your new life is filled with slow walks, VERY thorough sniffing, cozy naps, adventures with your new sibling, and as few suspicious shiny floors as humanly possible. 😂

And to her new family: thank you for seeing the wonderful girl we saw in her.

Happy tails, Samsung!! 🏡🤍🐾

**UPDATE: ADOPTED💕**

Hi, I’m Reaper! 🤍🧡

My name is Reaper.

Sounds terrifying, right?

Well, I am constantly reaching through the bars of my cage and swiping at unsuspecting people as they walk past...

BUT WAIT.

I’m not trying to hurt you!

I’m trying to GET YOU OVER HERE.

I’m a 3½-month-old kitten with a huge personality, endless confidence, and absolutely no tolerance for being ignored.

Walking past my cage without saying hello?

SWIPE.

Didn’t notice me the first time?

SWIPE SWIPE.

Oh good, you’re looking at me now.

HI!!! WANNA PLAY?!

I’m an absolute wild joy of a kitten who wants to be involved in everything happening around me. People are exciting. Toys are exciting. Playing is exciting. Life in general is EXTREMELY EXCITING, and I don’t understand why anyone would waste a perfectly good minute sitting around doing nothing.

I’m confident, outgoing, playful, and the kind of kitten who should thrive in just about any type of home. I’m not looking for a quiet corner where nobody bothers me.

Bother me!

Play with me. Talk to me. Give me toys. Let me investigate what you’re doing. Include me in the action!

Reaper is looking for a family that’s ready for a hilarious little sidekick who intends to participate fully in household life. He’s bold, entertaining, ridiculously adorable, and determined to make friends with absolutely everyone.

So if you happen to walk past his cage...

You might want to keep a safe distance.

Not because he’s dangerous.

Because once that little paw grabs your attention, you’re probably going home with a kitten.
