A Black women owned Indie film festival, Imagine This Productions is dedicated to providing womxn storytellers and filmmakers a platform to encourage and develop creative projects by womxn. With Imagine This Women's International Film Festival and Girl Power Film + Media Summit, Imagine This aims to amplify and empower independent and aspiring womxn filmmakers from around the world.

And just like that, ITWIFF 2026 has officially wrapped. Yesterday brought everything we could have asked for: incredible screenings, powerful conversations, and a room full of people who showed up until the very last frame.

What a way to close out this festival 💛

Here’s a tidbit of our fantastic panel today: “Cinematic Worlds: What does it take to create a world audiences believe in?” 🌎

Whether our stories are rooted in real life or in a fantasy realm, it’s vital construct worlds that we and our audiences can believe in. All the way from the set design to the editing stage, our panelists presented their thoughts on their role in the production stage. 🎬
