We lost the matriarch of Taaffe Place today. She passed over the rainbow bridge peacefully, after living in a warm, loving home these past 7 years. She will be missed dreadfully by her human and fur-step-siblings. May she run and play freely in the sun like she used to years ago. We miss you already, Mami. Love you always.

Theodore was brought to us by a young man that said he found the cat left in the hallway of his building in a carrier. Apparently the young man asked around but no one would admit to owning the cat. Theodore needs a second to get to know you, but once he likes you he becomes the cuddliest little kitty! Theodore has been diagnosed with a heart murmur, but that doesn’t stop him from loving as well as anyone else! If you’re thinking of adding a furry friend to your family, please consider giving Theo a chance!

CAN YOU FOSTER LILY? Lily needs a foster home in the NYC-area ASAP. She is a sweet, affectionate cat who is under a year old and gets along well with both people and other cats. She was recently spayed and developed an infection, so she is on antibiotics (but is very easy to medicate!). She needs a foster who does not have another cat or who can separate her while the infection heals. You would also need to take her to one of our partner vets to have her staples removed. If interested in fostering Lily please email [email protected], and you can also help us by SHARING THIS POST!
