Sunday June 9th 2019 @ 10am - is the day of the Paddle Paddle for a Cure is like a walk-a-thon(relay for life) BUT WE PADDLE instead of Walk.

“Facebook Memory” from this day in 2012. It was a pleasure to meet Karis and for her to take a photo during her battle, to show off what we raise money for(that year we bought 2 vital signs monitors) 🙏 Karis Hartley was born on October 29, 1976 and passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Karis was a resident of Danielson, Connecticut.

With COVID-19 taking over the world, a lot of people are not working and businesses are closed. With this hardship it will be tough to ask for donations. We may do a couple small events at the end of summer or fall. We will keep everyone updated on these events.
The next Paddle for a Cure will be Sunday,. June 13th 2021.

15 years ago today my Grandpa J. (Hadley P. Johnson) lost his battle to . During his battle he spent time at Day Kimball Hospital and loved all of the friendly people there helping him. This is a big reason why Paddle for a Cure donates 100% of the money raise to Day Kimball Healthcare Oncology Department.

30 years ago today Jesse Florence was only 5 years old when he lost his battle to leukemia and I was 7 years old when lost a friend and learned what cancer was.
This is a photo of us that I see every morning when I wake up.
