The Sunset Park School of Music provides high-quality music instruction for children and adults of all ages.

The school offers a broad program of private music instruction in piano, voice, guitar, strings, woodwinds and brass. The Sunset Park School of Music, a member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts, was founded in 1980. The school is a not-for-profit - 501 (C) (3) - music education and cultural institution serving a large, diversified community. A vital, growing institution, t

he school offers a broad program of private instruction, classes, community outreach programs and concerts. The school offers instruction in piano, voice, guitar, strings, woodwinds, brass, and traditional Japanese instruments (koyo, hichiriki, shakuhachi). These programs, from Classical to Jazz to Broadway and more, are available to children and adults of all ages. The school has a long-standing commitment to financial aid and scholarships. Through grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, private foundations and individual support, Sunset Park School of Music is able to continue the tradition of being able to offer high-quality music instruction to all who wish to participate regardless of race, religion, nationality, or financial circumstance.
