The goal of Sunset Park Promise Neighborhood is that all children in the community have good schools and strong systems of family and community support. In Sunset Park, we are working with residents and local organizations to implement a plan to provide support services for children from birth to adulthood. We have met and talked with residents extensively to identify and understand community stre

ngths and needs to develop ideas and solutions. Now, we are beginnign to implement some of these ideas. With a series of standing committees on Health, Academic and Community Support, Data, and Early Childhood, we are going to open the channels of communication between organizations to be sure that youth in Sunset Park are receiving the services that they need. We are grateful for the support of our partners, and welcome the support and participation of any of our neighbors.
