Brooklyn By The Book Brooklyn By the Book is a collaboration between Brooklyn Public Library (BPL), Community Bookstore and Congregation Beth Elohim (CBE).

The fourth year of Brooklyn’s largest literary series BROOKLYN BY THE BOOK (BBTB) begins this October and runs through the end of the year. A collaboration between Brooklyn Public Library, Brooklyn’s oldest operating bookstore, Community Bookstore, and Park Slope synagogue Congregation Beth Elohim (CBE), BBTB presents free or low cost literary events to Brooklyn’s ever-growing community of reader

s. Events are co-curated by the bookstore and the two organizations, and events will be held in one of three incredible spaces, CBE’s historic 1,200 seat sanctuary, its more-intimate chapel, or at BPL’s Dweck Center.
