New 3D prints of Terrestrial Treatment Tapestries: an adaptive geo-textile system engineered to restore scorched or eroded landscapes through integrated biological/ hydrological design. Composed of biodegradable fibers infused with kelp-derived bio-stimulants, the textile enriches depleted soils by reintroducing trace minerals, microbial nutrients, and natural growth hormones that trigger regeneration. Embedded seedling cells allow native vegetation to root directly within the mesh, providing initial stabilization and microclimatic protection as plants establish. Interwoven capillary channels capture and redistribute rainfall, dew, and runoff, regulating surface moisture and preventing further erosion. Over time, the structure biodegrades, leaving behind a cohesive, vegetated terrain—an interface where material design, water management, and living systems collaborate to heal the Earth’s damaged skin.
