After 15 years as one of the most dynamic chapters of the international Opera on Tap network, Opera on Tap Boston is now Opera UnTapped, a newly independent nonprofit creating innovative, artist-led opera experiences across New England.
Since 2010, we’ve expanded access to opera by bringing high-quality performances into community spaces across the region. Along the way, we’ve created opportunities for hundreds of artists and developed work that is collaborative, inventive, and shaped by the spaces where it’s shared. As our work has grown, so has our vision.
Opera UnTapped is the natural next step—for both our artists and our audiences.
We’ll continue fan-favorite programs like Arias Aloft and Flowers & Opera, while expanding into new collaborations, new venues, and new ways of sharing this art form.
We can’t wait to share what’s next.
