The Q***r Commons is a community-based organization dedicated to developing and supporting free educational events by and for q***r and LGBT folks, particularly people of color, noncitizens, trans, gender nonconforming, genderq***r and intersex people, and all those who exist outside of the gay mainstream.
Our events, which include peer-led discussion groups, panels, participatory workshops and more, promote dialogue around social justice-based themes, support the health and well-being of the q***r community, empower q***r organizing, and encourage new leadership from within the q***r community. We also co-sponsor and help spread the word about other q***r events here and on our website. We welcome you to use this page to share information about events and initiatives relevant to the q***r community. To remain a balance between different perspectives, we may occasionally remove items from groups that have posted repeatedly, particularly those that are not related to discrete events/actions.
