As part of Climate Week NYC, Adamah New York convened leaders from government, philanthropy, energy and the Jewish community for Reducing Risk, Building Resilience: A Jewish Climate Action Agenda at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan

The conversation focused on what it will take to strengthen resilience at both the city and community level — from infrastructure and energy reliability to long-term investment, emergency preparedness and the role trusted community institutions can play in helping New Yorkers prepare, respond and recover.

One takeaway came through clearly: building resilience requires coordination and collaboration. Municipalities, community organizations, businesses and philanthropy all have a role to play, and the Jewish community is uniquely positioned within the fabric of New York to help convene, advocate and move this work forward.

Thank you to our partners Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan and UJA-Federation of New York, and to our generous event sponsors NineDot Energy, Efficient Energy Compliance, and Rich Energy Solutions for helping make this important conversation possible.

And thank you to everyone who joined us during Climate Week NYC. The work of building more resilient communities continues.
