Extra! Extra! Read all about it! 📰 We’re so excited to have been featured in Yahoo! News for our inaugural participation in the Bureau Veritas STEM Scholars Program. Some of our members were selected to participate and responded positively to the curriculum and being exposed to opportunities of what a STEM education can provide. Although the program was only a week, STEM education continues at Madison throughout the year. Don’t miss your chance to stop by the Disney+ Summer Tour this weekend at the Flatiron Building! This pop up event will be a chance for people to learn more about Disney+, with different activities and giveaways throughout the space. A live mural artist will be painting a Disney+ inspired mural which will hang in our Murphy Clubhouse after it is completed. The mural will include all of the diverse Disney princesses which will surely resonate with the kids at our Club.

Members from our Grimm Clubhouse have been working on simulating the experience of arriving at Mars to conduct scientific exploration and building a rover to navigate and withstand the surface of this mysterious planet. We love that our Clubhouses and staff help our members travel throughout the universe and beyond!

The science and chemistry behind ice cream making is getting extra yummy at our Clubhouses! Members recently worked on this tasty science activity and took notice of the different stages/changes during this delicious process. Most importantly, they’re reflected on some interesting questions like, "How do the ingredients change during this process?” “How important do you think it is that they are cooled to a certain temperature?" & more!
