Fueled by passion and commitment, I'm privileged to connect with an exceptional group of student leaders at Midwood High School every week, both in-person and virtually. Our engaging sessions explore the richness of Judaism, delving into Torah teachings, customs, and vibrant holiday celebrations. Together, we're not just shaping leaders; we're cultivating a new generation empowered with the wisdom of tradition, ready to radiate light and positive change throughout their school and beyond.

Three years ago, Brooklyn NCSY and embarked on a journey to inspire and empower the incredible young minds in the Russian community. Together, we started as a group for pre-bar and bas mitzva-aged tweens, and today, those same kids are now flourishing as teenagers in high school.

Our program has been an incredible success, and we are thrilled to announce that due to widespread interest, we’re beh expanding into not one, not two, but three exciting subdivisions in this years leadership program!

🌟 “Juniors” for the bright-eyed elementary school kids
🌟 “Tweens” for those pre bas and bar mitzva explorers
🌟 And a next level program for our amazing teenagers, ready to spread their wings

It’s an incredible feeling to see the next generation come in, brimming with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a burning desire to learn and grow. The future is bright, and we’re ready to embrace it together!

Bring along your entire family for an uplifting community rally for Israel this Sunday 11-1pm in Manhattan Beach! Featuring musical performer Gad Elbaz, along with several powerhouse guest speakers including Morton Klein, ZOA National President, Councilwoman Inna Vernikov, Rabbi Akiva Eisenstadt, Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny, Rabbi Abraham Faur, and more. We are also expecting special guest NYC Mayor Eric Adams!

This event is expected to have 1,000+ local community members in attendance so you won't want to miss it!

Featuring , the Mayor, and inspirational speakers! Bring the entire family along. There will even be a experiential learning room for kids (run by NCSY) while adults enjoy an uplifting event of love and support for our family in Israel! This is expected to have 1,000+ local community members in attendance so you won’t want to miss it!

This week, our vibrant Brooklyn Yeshiva teen community came together with open hearts, embracing the spirit of Sukkot. We welcomed new students and rekindled old friendships under the leafy embrace of the sukkah. Engaging icebreakers and the tradition of shaking the lulav heightened our excitement, fostering a deep sense of togetherness and tradition.

Sukkot is a holiday that reminds us of the power of happiness and gratitude. We had the honor of hearing from our dedicated Chapter Director who shared the wisdom of this joyful season and a small insight into the world of NCSY and all that we can get involved in! Meeting our Yeshiva advisors and the enthusiastic new members of our chapter board also added to our sense of purpose and community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to , Rabbi Weiss and the entire Merkaz Yisrael Marine Park Jewish Center community for their gracious hospitality in hosting us in their beautiful sukkah. It's through the support of parents and community members that we can continue to create meaningful experiences, foster lasting friendships, and nurture the growth of our teens.

This year kicked off an incredible partnership between Brooklyn NCSY and Yeshiva of Flatbush HS. Once a week, our Chapter Director Rivkie Kahn goes to the YOF campus to work with a group of select students. This new initiative is called Torah Design Lab, where NCSY provides a dose of inspiration and the advanced graphic design class functions as a design studio for our Chapter’s secular outreach efforts. These students will earn zechusim while impacting those that are coming back to their roots.

Brooklyn NCSY recognizes the centrality of Jewish schools and Yeshivas within our community and has established several programs and initiatives to support, service, and inspire both faculty and teens alike.

Aside from our world renowned summer programs, including Next Step Internships and our 30+ other social, travel, and chesed summer program options, the Brooklyn Chapter is constantly working to establish initiatives and programs that serve and cater to the needs and interests of our community members.

Some additional programs Brooklyn NCSY offers Yeshiva teens (both for single gender and co-ed):

1. Social Action Trips - Relief Missions and local chesed projects
2. JUMP (Jewish Unity Mentoring Program) Conference
3. Learn & Earn Fellowship (earn scholarship for Israel!)
4. Junior Advisor positions working with our public middle school division
5. Weekly Pizza and Parsha dinner and learning off campus
6. On campus ruach and inter-school Yemei Iyun
7. Shabbos, Shabbatons, and Holiday events/gathering
8. Guest Hashkafa lectures on campus
