Chabad on Campus International The

10/07/2026

Today, we remember and we take action.

We remember the precious Jews who were murdered sanctifying G-d’s name.

And we do Mitzvahs in their honor, ensuring their memories live forever.

May their memories forever be a blessing.

Am Yisrael Chai.

Hamilton College has formally recognized Rabbi Didy Waks and Devorah Waks, longtime directors of Chabad Student Group at Hamilton College , as official non-faculty/staff campus advisors to the Chabad Student Group.

This role formally recognizes the unique relationship between our Chabad directors and the student groups on campus.

When a college officially designates our campus Rabbis and Rebbetzins with such a role, it’s an acknowledgement of what our students experience from the moment they set foot into the Chabad House:

Our Chabad House directors are true community leaders, in every definition of the word.

Thank you to Dean Colleen Hallagan Preuninger and her team for their partnership and care in building this relationship.

Mazal Tov to the Waks family!

If you’ve seen a Rabbi, Rebbetzin or child approach you with a palm branch and a fruit that resembles a lemon over these last few days, please don’t panic 😂

Our Rabbis and Rebbetzins and their children have hit the streets of campus to perform one of the Mitzvahs that we do on the holiday of Sukkos- shake the Lulav and Esrog with hundreds of Jewish students on campus 🍋🌿

From Texas A&M University to UT Dallas to The Ohio State University to Santa Monica College, our Chabad Houses have got you covered (literally 🤣) for the holiday of Sukkos!

Don’t forget to swing by your local Succah to grab a bite to eat ✨

This past week, hundreds of Sukkahs went up on campuses around the world.

Over the course of the next week, thousands of students will eat delicious, homemade meals in these beautiful huts.

Many will shake the Lulav and Esrog for the first time.

And even those who simply pass by the Sukkahs will see a symbol of unwavering Jewish pride and tradition.

This is what we are here for.

Please join your Chabad on Campus to eat in the Sukkah and to shake the Lulav and Esrog!

Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach!
