Youth Farm is looking vibrant and green to kick off this season!β˜€οΈWe've been enjoying the cherries and getting ready for the garlic!! In our greenhouse, we have a variety of hot peppers and Palestinian okra that will be planted soon in preparation for seed saving and our farmers market coming late June!

All levels of gardeners are welcome! Volunteers can expect to assist with activities such as weeding, mulching, watering, processing compost and organizing farm spaces, along with any other tasks that may arise. 🌱

Join us at the ENY Youth Farm, located at 620 Schenck Ave from 11am-1pm. Available Junedates are: June 10th, May 13th, June 24th and June 27th. We look forward to working together and making a positive impact on our community and environment πŸ’ͺ🌿

Congratulations to our Farmers Market Manager, Elli Sol, for being recognized as a 40 under 40 Rising Stars in Food Policy! Elli Sol was recognized for her dedication to organizing vendors, gardeners and youth through our Seasonal Farmers Market to support economic development and food access in East New York

Last Saturday, we at ENYF hosted our annual Intergenerational Breakfast to bring youth, gardeners, and neighbors together for a morning of activities and shared memories. People made Sun Prints together and enjoyed connecting across generations.

The Staff and Interns at recently had our first Garden Assistance of the 2026 Season! We visited our friends at Hands & Heart Garden. We helped them reorganize their shed, swipe to see the before and after!

As the season progresses, our goal is to assist more gardeners and urban farms in the East New York area; this was the first of many garden assistance projects we will undertake this year! πŸ’šπŸ’ͺ
