Propagation of the Faith - Diocese of Brooklyn Missions Office that oversees the Propagation of the Faith, the Missionary Childhood Association, the Society of St.

Peter the Apostle, and other missionary activity for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. In addition to the Pontifical Societies, the Missions Office offers Mass intentions (various individual Masses, Triduum, Novena, Purgatorial Enrollment, and Gregorian Masses), manages calendars for the parishes in Brooklyn and Queens, and takes in religious articles and vestments for missionaries overseas.

Masses are given to missionary bishops who visit our office and missionary priests who work in our diocese. They say Mass for the intentions of the donors overseas. These stipends help support them and their communities in their home country. Most Masses are given to priests from the Caribbean, India, and various African countries. Masses may be requested by mail or over the phone.
