Matters of the Heart was born out of a need. Our kids.

We believe every child should have the opportunity to realize their dreams and carry hope in their hearts throughout their lives. A need to protect and help our kids. A need to lend a hand to those who, all too often, get lost in the shuffle: kids. Not "those" kids, or "someone's" kids. Children are a collective of all of our futures. In a world that is far too quick to be cruel and values money a

bove all else, kids bear the brunt of heartache. Through no fault of their own, their worlds are turned upside down and we want to offer hope in the place of despair. We learn from what we see, and we want to show our children that the world can be a joyful place, a hopeful place, a place to reach for your dreams.

Meet the orphans of Craejd orphanage, Congo. We will introduce an orphan every few weeks until we meet all the children. Next week we will meet Grace. Grace is 4 years old and has never met her parents.
