What does wellness look like? šŸ‘€

Sometimes wellness looks like rest

Sometimes wellness looks like taking pride in yourself.

Sometimes wellness looks like learning.

Wellness doesn’t look one way.

And you don’t have to wait for a new month to prioritize yours.

How can you involve your family in wellness?

Wellness is better when we do it together! Take a walk. Cook a healthy meal together. Have an honest conversation. Schedule those check-ups. Make time to unplug and connect. Small habits can make a big difference.

This National Wellness Month, find a way to make wellness part of your family’s routine.

What’s one wellness activity your family can do together?

Who should prioritize wellness?

Everyone! Especially Black men.

Wellness isn’t just for when something feels wrong. It’s about taking care of yourself before you need to. It’s about making your health a priority at every stage of life.
Your physical health. Your mental health. Your relationships. Your peace.

Don’t wait for a wake-up call. Prioritize your wellness today.

So, what is wellness?

It’s more than eating healthy or hitting the gym. Wellness is caring for your WHOLE SELF including your heart, your body, your mind, and your relationships.

For Black men, prioritizing wellness means making space for prevention, mental health, connection, rest, and the support needed to truly thrive.

What does wellness look like for you?

When Black men show up for themselves, entire families and communities grow stronger. šŸ’ŖšŸ¾

At The Black Man’s Health FestivalĀ®, our founder, Chris Williams, along with community leaders, partners, and attendees, shared one powerful message: Your health matters, and you don’t have to do this alone.

Heart, Body & Soul is committed to creating spaces where Black men are seen, supported, and empowered to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this year. We hope to see you next year, June 5, 2027!

One of the most unforgettable moments from this year’s Black Man’s Health Festival wasn’t on the schedule... it just happened. šŸ§”šŸŽ¤

As Malik Yoba and Chris Williams prepared for an interview, the fearless 5-year-old, Genesis, stepped up, grabbed the microphone, and started asking the questions.

Everyone smiled and laughed, and for a few special moments, the spotlight belonged to our youngest reporter.

You never know who you’re inspiring... or who might be conducting the next interview.

Who knew Chris Williams and Malik Yoba were ā€œheart brothers?ā€

Malik stopped by the 5th Annual Black Man’s Health FestivalĀ® to show some love, catch up with our founder, Chris, and share why events like this matter.

Thanks for spending time with the Heart, Body & Soul family, Malik! šŸ™ŒšŸ¾
