🍄✨ This past Saturday we got our hands dirty (in the best way) at our mushroom-growing workshop with instructor Taja! 🌱 From substrates to spawn, we learned exactly what mushrooms need to thrive — and guess what? The secret ingredient is WOOD. 🌳👀

Now it’s your turn to try it at home — yes, you can absolutely grow your own mushrooms! 🏡🍄

🌱 Radical Living is back this summer!

Our youth gardening and wellness program is all about slowing down, connecting with the earth, and building community.

This year, we’re focusing on REST—and along the way, youth will:
🌿 Learn to garden
🍴 Cook delicious and nutritious meals
🌍 Explore environmental justice

✨ Lunch is provided every session!
📌 Kids under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

📍Location: Calvary Fellowship AME
790 Herkimer St, Brooklyn, NY 11233

🚫 No session next Saturday.
✅ We’ll meet every Saturday after that until August 31st, the Saturday before school starts.
