After a wet and dreary week, the sun came out today! It was a beautiful day to give away food. Thank you to the amazing volunteers who helped make it possible. Reach out if you’re looking for ways to volunteer or would like to donate to our cause. Thank you to everyone who dropped off soup this week! We will be back at McGolrick Park the last Sunday of each month. Help us to stay stocked!

A freezing cold Saturday serving our Greenpoint community. If you’re interested in getting involved, please reach out. Our next food distribution is on Saturday, Feb 3.

We are in need of soups! We will be at the McGolrick Park farmers market next Sunday the 28 collecting non perishables, specifically canned soup. 🍲 Stop by to say hello and drop off anything you can.

We had a wonderful time giving away food today! I love that more and more families are learning about our food pantry and coming to serve. I think teaching children to serve others is such an important thing. Kudos to these parents who take the time out of their weekend to model what it looks like to give back to their community.

It’s that time again!!!
Our third annual Turkey Tote Drive! We’re giving away 100 totes filled with all the ingredients and recipes for a thanksgiving meal, plus a Turkey and pie!

We need your help to fill our bags! We are partnering with 3 businesses and 1 school to make this year’s collection a success. You can drop off the requested items at any of the four locations between now and November 15th!

If you’re in need of help this Thanksgiving season, please email us at [email protected] and we will add you to the list of Turkey tote recipients. Or stop by this Sat. Nov 4 for our normal food distribution to add your name to the list.

Serving people is something that brings us joy. Giving people a chance to serve is a huge part of why we do what we do. Today we had some new faces who came for food. Getting to hear people’s stories and bringing a smile to their faces while giving them food is a great day to start a weekend. Message us for more info on how to get involved. We finally got to celebrate the people who make this show happen; the volunteers! Thank you to our long standing supporters and partners, for hosting our volunteers tonight with a delicious dinner! It was so encouraging to sit around the table with some of our core volunteers tonight. We celebrated one another, laughed, and filled our tummies. The world needs more people like these. Thank you to our beautiful neighbors who volunteer their time week after week. And thank you to at for your constant support since the beginning. Tonight was wonderful. ♥️
