The month of Elul is all about spiritual preparation and new beginnings.

➡️

But preparation for something holy doesn’t always look spiritual.

In the Beis Hamikdash, even the most mundane physical tasks were part of the Avodah — because they were done for something holy.

This week, Mrs Chein Libby Chein polished and prepared the crowns that will soon adorn our Holy Torahs for the New Year.

It may look like physical work.

But it is holy work.

A reminder that not all Holy work looks beautiful but often carries deep spiritual significance.
